Katie Lawson is a native of a small southern town in Georgia, and has been writing and journaling since she was seven years old. She began turning her prose into song when she was given an assignment in her high school English class. Katie has a broad musical taste and draws influence from artists like Sandra McCracken, Rivers & Robots, and Jon Foreman.
Katie's music speaks from raw authenticity that will leave you hanging on every delicate word she sings. In her debut EP, Call Me Out, Katie invites you on her journey from wilderness to garden as she discovers grace in the midst of both.
When she's not writing music, you can find her involved in full-time ministry. Or at a taco stand. She really loves tacos.
